Our League
B.Y.A.A. Soccer is an organized co-ed soccer league for children ages 4-18 (senior year of High School) held during the Spring and Fall for 8 weeks.
It is a volunteer run and organized league. Coaches are required to be certified in CPR/First Aid, CDC HeadsUp Concussion, and Rutgers SAFETY, as per Middletown Township requirements. One or two coaches are assigned to each team, and are the only people permitted on the team sideline during games.
All practices and games are held at Mater Dei Park, Middletown, New Jersey.
Games and practices are approximately one hour a week each. Games are mostly held on Saturdays (8 am-1:30 pm) with possible mid-week games, and Senior Division plays Friday evenings. Certified and/or experienced referees officiate the games suing FIFA Laws of the Game and BYAA Rules as our guidelines.
Division placement is based on the player's birth date. Breakdown of divisions are at the discretion of the league administration when reviewing registrations. Teams at all levels are drafted each season to create fair, balanced teams and promote new friendships with teammates across our local area. Requests for team placement cannot be accommodated and changes will not be made on rosters. Practice days and times are based on coach and field availability.
Cost is $75 for 1 child, $150 for 2, or $180 for family. Late fees may impact these prices.
Players will be issued a team jersey and matching socks each season which are to be worn for games. Once teams are created, a parent/guardian will receive a notification through TeamSnap. All league and team communication will be through TeamSnap (same as registration).
*All players are required to purchase and wear shin guards. Cleats and an appropriate sized soccer ball are strongly recommended at most levels/required at some. Please ask your coach for size of ball for your division.
We accept players from Middletown, NJ and the surrounding area.
